So here we are. We have around 35 days to get ourselves organised for the first Amplified event. Behind the scenes we already have Rohan Gunatillake from NESTA and Josie Fraser pulling the event together and a wide range of networks have expressed an interest in getting involved.
Today I’ll be adding a wiki to the blog so we can throw some ideas around and over the next few weeks we’ll be grabbing some interviews with some of the individuals that make this whole thing worth doing. So there’s video and audio content on the way too. As soon as we can we’ll have an Eventbrite page set up for tickets so bookmark this blog for further updates.
I know we’ve had some people express an interest in taking part in the blogging too which is a great relief to me. There’s a little more info about the scope of Amplified in the previous post. How we build upon that from here is up to you.

Phil – Oh there’s a lot you can do I expect. I’ll drop you a line over the weekend.
Dean – In a roundabout way it is. Most of the stuff I do still doesn’t have a job title, but it’s a nice mix of paid and unpaid depending on the fun level and who I’m working with. Amplified by its very nature crosses over a few of my current gigs.
Enjoyed talking to you & Toby about it at Tuttle yesterday and more than happy to help in the ways I said – spreading the word, getting peeps together to talk about real projects, running sessions if you want etc etc
If it’s owt involving building a widget or doing anything remotely code based I know nothing
